Senator Tweayean continues the thank you tour in District # 3

As it has been a tradition now in Liberian politics where politicians have to go back to the electorates after elections, Nimba County senator Nyan Tweayean extends his thank you tour in Gbehlay Geh District.
The thank you tour, according to the senator, is in two phases. Where phase one will take him from District # 1 to 3 while he will embark on the next phase in November of this year.
The Nimba Senator entered Gbehlay Geh district3 on October 9, 2024, and engaged the citizens of the district in that part of the county.
The lawmakers extended their trip to Twah River District 4 on Saturday, October 12, 2024, and had a massive engagement with residents of Twah River District 4.
During his appreciation, the senator described his return to the county, citing the story of the Holy Bible when Jesus healed 10 men.
“Jesus healed 10 men with the conditions of leprosy, after healing, he released them to go back to their various destinations, and one of the tenths came back to identify and appreciate Jesus Christ”.
Tweayean told the gathering that he wanted to be like the fellow who came back to appreciate Jesus, not the ungrateful 9 persons.
Nyan described the year 2024 as a year of preparation, assuring citizens that the completion of Thanksgiving will commence next month, November 2024, in the other parts of the county.
The Nimba County senator admonished the residents of Twah and Gbehlay Geh that he will collectively work with the sons and daughters in leadership positions to see how best the promises made to electries be fulfilled to shine Nimba County’s development agenda.
In releasing his progress reports for the past five months, the lawmaker noted that in the national budget, he proposed that the bridge between Gbeh Loelay and Kpairplay, the road from Beo-Yoolar to Gblan region and other parts of the county be reconditioned and graded.
Commenting on the said that Saga between the aggrieved China Rail Road Seventh Group (CRSG) workers and the management team, he mentioned that it would be put on the floor for debate.
Twayen explained that he needed to experience an accident on deplorable road conditions, something he said he would not take a side in reporting to the Senate and to Vice President Jeremiah Kpan Koung.
Meanwhile, the statutory superintendent of Gbehlay Geh statutory district, James D Zourpeawon, on behalf of the citizens, thanked and appreciated the senator for his level of development and asked him to continue as he will have no match in the general elections in 2029.
