Police officer involved in fight over Chicken foot in Nimba County, dïěş of injuries sustained
In a sad development, Patrolman Elton Bahn, who sustained a broken spinal cord injury during a fight with another officer, Jeremiah Takpor, over a single chicken foot has succumbed to his injuries.
His dêäțħ was confirmed by family sources this morning at the John F. Kennedy Memorial hospital, where he was transferred to, from Karnplay City, in Nimba County, for treatment.
It can be recalled in a very disturbing and viral video, the two Police officers were seen engaged in a very ghastly fight over one piece of chicken foot. Leaving one officer with a broken spinal cord.
According to eyewitnesses, the fight between , a Police Patrolman , and Jeremiah Takpor, a Police Support Unit (PSU) officer, broke out after Patrolman Bahn had questioned the greedy manner for which the PSU officer Tapkor was eating the food both of them were sharing.
PSU officer Tapkor, had grabbed the only chicken foot in the food and was about to bite it, only for patrolman Bahn to snatch (Jeck) it from the PSU officer’s hand.
The action by Patrolman Bahn, was deemed as gross insubordination by PSU officer Tapkor, which led to insults and eventually a very nasty fight, leaving patrolman Elton Bahn with a broken spinal cord amongst other injuries.
Accordingly, PSU officer Jeremiah Tapkor, who allegedly inflicted such gruesome injuries on his colleague , that has led to his death, has been taken to the headquarters of the Liberia National Police face investigation.
