Commerce disposes of unwholesome food in Ganta

GANTA CITY- The senior commerce inspector of Nimba has disposed of some unwholesome and expired frozen foods in Ganta City Nimba County.
During the exercises over the weekend, Billy Flahn disclosed that the frozen and unwholesome food where taken from the Banjak cold storage.
He mentioned that the expired and unwholesome frozen foods have been quarantined for weeks for proper investigation before disposing of them.
Flahn put the estimated cost of the disposed goods at a little over 65,000 Liberian dollars.
The Nimba commerce inspector asserted that his office will continue to work with Business entities across the county to have a healthy and up-to-date product on the market for the well-being of the society.
He explained that the Business community and commerce are partners in progress, but their work of ensuring that standardized goods are sold on the market.
