Jackson Fiah Doe Hospital receives huge medical drugs and supplies from Medicins Sans Frontier
Barely two months after benefitting from the donation of medical supplies valued at over 200,000 United States Dollars, the Jackson Fiah Doe Hospital has yet again received huge medical drugs and supplies from the charity organisation, Medicins Sans Frontier valued at over 250,000 USD.
Speaking to an attendance of staff, senior management team and consultants at the old OPD, CEO Victor Kaiser said the drugs which are mostly essential medications, were acquired through advocacy by the hospital management.
He maintained that his management remains committed to advocacies that will improve health care delivery service at the facility.
He said the donations of medical drugs and supplies to the JFD MSF is a partnership that has begun between the hospital and the charity organisation and will go a long way.
He disclosed that by December of this year, vehicles and ambulance are expected to arrive through the auspices of MSF.
Meanwhile Dr. Kaizer has disclosed in an interview that the JFD is soon to open a stroke clinic that will cater for people suffering from stroke.
Dr. Victor Kaiser was installed as a CEO for a second time at the JFD Hospital in April and since then, the facility continues to be improved in various ways.
Recently a laboratory for Lasssa Fever and other diseases was set up at the hospital under the auspices of FIND and UMC, Florida.
